KEIRSEY CHRONICLES: Donald Trump |
|
TRUMPED:
Fired or Hired?
"You're
fired! You're hired!" In his hit show The Apprentice,
Donald Trump has captured the imagination of the American
people when it comes to big business. Trump has had great
success, based on his character and chutspah, but temperament
tells us that there are different styles of management
that work well in certain situations. Understanding how
Trump uses his strengths and weaknesses as a leader will
provide important lessons in the nature of leadership and
'follower-ship'.

2004 Keirsey
Temperament Awards
The Annual
Keirsey Temperament Awards have been decided for 2004.
The Awards are given to famous individuals who exemplify
their respective temperaments. Starting at the millenium,
each year the Keirseys show examples of individuals who
could illustrate the temperaments and show the wide range
of character of each the temperaments. Donald
Trump is one of the 2004 recipients.
As usual there has been no
difficulty in coming up with Artisan candidates, for they
dominate the news and are most of your well-known celebrities.
The 2004 awards were no exception. In fact, this year two
Artisans: Donald Trump and Lance Armstrong were honored,
because they are both quite amazing and are clear examples
for their type. They both have written autobiographies (with
help) which is very unusual for Artisans. The other three
temperaments are usually much harder find and recognize,
because their entire lives are not typically well known
or documented to any reasonable detail for examination and
analysis.
